2 human skeletons found in garbage pile

MANILA, Philippines - Two sets of human skeletons were discovered in a pile of garbage in Barangay Paraiso, Quezon City Friday afternoon.

Police Officer 2 Jogene Hernandez said garbage collector Nonoy Mendoza found the skeletal remains in a blue sack placed in a cardboard box as he sifted through trash at a vacant lot at the corner of Cooper and Benitez streets.

Hernandez said they have yet to find a witness who could help them identify who dumped the skeletons at the vacant lot.
