Fire guts 2 Taguig warehouses

MANILA, Philippines - At least P35 million worth of property went up in smoke after a six-hour fire razed two warehouses in Taguig City that was put out before dawn Friday.

Inspector Jerson Montellana said the fire destroyed the AC Corp. warehouse, which contained gas station machine pumps, at the FTI Complex and spread to the Goodman Fielder warehouse.

He said they needed around 50 firetrucks to put out the fire by 5 a.m. yesterday. No one was hurt in the incident.
