Woman dies in bed after sex

MANILA, Philippines –  A 38-year-old woman died while still in bed with her boyfriend just as they finished having sex at a hotel in Quezon City at past midnight yesterday.

Case investigator Police Officer 2 Jogene Hernandez said the couple checked in at the Walnut Hotel at around 9 p.m. Thursday. At around 12:30 a.m. yesterday, the lovers were cuddling after sex when the woman suddenly had a seizure and could not breathe.

The 43-year-old boyfriend called room attendants for assistance. Hernandez said doctors at the East Avenue Medical Center failed to revive the woman.

The man told police his girlfriend – a widow with two children – had no known illness prior to yesterday’s incident.
