MANILA, Philippines – Operatives from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and the San Juan City police arrested six men for allegedly stealing a sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was recovered in Alaminos, Pangasinan, an official said yesterday.
NCRPO chief Director Nicanor Bartolome said Brigido Oglingkuan of North Greenhills reported his Honda CRV (ZLU-692) stolen on Feb. 9.
Two days later, NCRPO and San Juan police officers recovered the stolen SUV at the CSI Warehouse Club’s parking lot in Alaminos.
The suspects were arrested separately in Marikina City; Meycuayan, Bulacan; La Loma, Quezon City and Greenhills, San Juan.
Bartolome said Dacer, who allegedly masterminded the theft, was the one who convinced Solis to steal the SUV and bring it to their group. Solis, police said, was the personal driver of Oglingkuan.
