3 arrested for drug peddling

MANILA, Philippines -  Anti-narcotics operatives arrested three persons at an alleged drug den in Parañaque City yesterday afternoon.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency identified the arrested suspects as Emmanuel Rivera, Freezx Isanan and a certain alias Jonis.

PDEA spokesman Derrick Arnold Carreon said the operation was prompted by a search warrant issued by Judge Amor Reyes of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 21. Carreon said operatives confiscated drug paraphernalia, sachets containing suspected shabu residue and a sachet containing shabu. The operation was conducted by the PDEA Metro Manila Regional Office at around 1 p.m. yesterday at the house of Rivera in Barangay San Dionisio in Parañaque City.

Carreon said Rivera was the subject of the warrant. “He (Rivera) sells drugs in his house and then operates a drug den supervised by Jonis and Freezx,” Carreon said.
