4 more complainants vs Globe Asiatique

- Jose Rodel Clapano -

MANILA, Philippines - The National Bureau of Investigation presented before the Department of Justice yesterday four more complainants against Globe Asiatique (GA) officials over a reported swindling scheme.

Evelyn Niebres, Ronald Gabriel San Nicolas and Catherine Bacani, all residents of the Xevera Homes housing project in Pampanga, filed separate complaints of estafa against GA president Delfin Lee and seven employees as well as lawyer Alex Alvarez of Pag-IBIG Fund’s foreclosure department.

The three complainants alleged that the respondents engaged in the “double sale” of the house and lots they bought from GA. They said they found out that housing loans had been taken out with Pag-IBIG on the properties they had purchased.

Another complainant, Pag-IBIG Fund deputy chief executive officer Emmal Linda Faria filed syndicated estafa charges against Lee and his eight co-respondents.
