Cops release images of German hotel executive's killers
MANILA, Philippines - The Makati City police yesterday released computer-generated images of the suspected killers of Sergio Sandro Mazza, a German executive of Shangri-La Hotel who was shot dead six months ago.
Police Officer 2 Emelson Madronio said all of the suspects are fair-skinned, of medium build, and weigh around 80 to 85 kilos.
Madronio said a “potential witness” pointed to these men but the police have yet to establish their identities.
Mazza, 38, was the assistant executive food and beverage manager of Shangri-La Hotel in Makati. He was shot on his way to work by a lone gunman with a .22 caliber pistol at the corner of De la Rosa and Perea streets in Makati City on June 17.
Police said a “love affair” is still the strongest motive because Mazza’s belongings, including the P20,000 in his wallet, were untouched.
City police chief Senior Superintendent Froilan Bonifacio also said that based on the investigation, Mazza seemed to have multiple relationships with women in a short span of time.
Madronio said those who can provide information may reach him through 0999-4373183, 8435877, and e-mail address [email protected].
