Makati barangay executive shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - Three men killed a recently elected barangay councilor in Makati City Friday night.

Southern Police District spokesperson Chief Superintendent Jenny Tecson said Juan Armamento, 62, was attacked in front of his house at the corner of Washington and Facundo streets in Barangay Pio del Pilar at around 8:35 p.m.

Police have yet to identify his killers and find out why he was killed.
