MANILA, Philippines - A pawnshop employee was killed while his two colleagues were seriously wounded in a robbery along Alabang Zapote Road in Muntinlupa City yesterday.

Senior Superintendent Romeo Sapitula, city police chief, identified the fatality as Jesus Enriquez, driver of Aguirre Pawnshop.

The injured – store manager Bernadeth Palen and cashier Conshel Orillo - are in stable condition at the Alabang Medical Clinic.

According to Sapitula, the victims were on their way home from a mall at about 3:15 p.m. when four men on two motorcycles blocked their Toyota Vios, shot at them, and took away an “undetermined” amount of money.

The survivors failed to identify the assailants because they were wearing helmets.
