Student elected Valenzuela village chief

MANILA, Philippines - A 19-year-old student was elected barangay chairman in Valenzuela City last Monday.

Rovin Angy Feliciano, a legal management student of San Beda College, was proclaimed duly elected chairman of Barangay Arkong Bato by the Barangay Election Board of Canvassers in Valenzuela.

Feliciano is believed to be the youngest barangay chairman elected in the recently concluded barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan election.

He is the son Valenzuela City Association of Barangay Council president Alvin Feliciano who had completed his three-year term as barangay chairman.
