Call center agent posts ex's sex video on Facebook

MANILA, Philippines - Mandaluyong City police arrested yesterday a 25-year-old call center agent for allegedly uploading to the Internet a nude photo of his former girlfriend and their sex video on the social networking site Facebook.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Carlos de Sagun said suspect Jean Albert Bunyi, a resident of Barangay Hulo, did not resist when he was apprehended at the Barangka Market at around 11 a.m.

De Sagun ordered that Bunyi, who is detained at the city police detention center, be charged with violating the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act and Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act.

He said Bunyi’s ex-girlfriend, who is from Mindanao, filed a complaint after seeing her picture and sex video on the Internet.

She said she broke up with Bunyi months ago, but he kept on asking her to take him back. The complainant said Bunyi threatened twice that he would post the photo and video, which were taken when they were still together.

She refused, and she said Bunyi posted her nude photo and their sex video on his Facebook account. The complainant said Bunyi also sent her nude photos to her parents in Mindanao.

She said her family has ostracized her and she could no longer go home to her province.

De Sagun said Bunyi chose to remain silent on the charges against him.
