PNP reshuffles 10 more officials

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine National Police yesterday announced the reshuffle of 10 more senior ranking officers on orders from Philippine National Police chief Director General Raul Bacalzo.

Bacalzo said he approved the latest reorganization on the recommendation of the Senior Officers’ Placement and Promotion Board.

Chief Superintendent Reynaldo Rafal was designated as Region 13 (Caraga) regional police director; Chief Superintendent Jaime Morente as deputy director, Directorate for Research and Development; Chief Superintendent Elpidio de Asis as deputy director, Directorate for Information and Communication Technology Management; and Chief Superintendent Francisco Villaroman as deputy director, Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Eastern Mindanao.

Chief Superintendent Manuel Cachero was named director of the Logistics Support Service; Chief Superintendent Luis Saligumba as director of the Police National Training Institute; Senior Superintendent Melchor Fajardo as executive officer, Directorate for Plans; Senior Superintendent Willie Tolentino as executive officer, Directorate for Information and Communication Technology Management; Senior Superintendent Noel delos Reyes as executive director, Directorate for Intelligence and Senior Superintendent Mark Edison Belarma as executive officer, Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Eastern Mindanao.

The PNP said the new assignments will take effect tomorrow. Bacalzo earlier ordered the reshuffle of 13 senior PNP officials occupying key positions in the Command Group, Directorial Staff, National Support Units and Police Regional Offices.
