NBI nabs church worker for selling fake dollars

MANILA, Philippines - A church worker was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in an entrapment in Manila last Wednesday for allegedly selling counterfeit dollar bills.
NBI Director Magtanggol Gatdula identified the suspect as Pedmar Cleofe Huertas, 50, alias Ka Lando, who was charged before the Manila prosecutor’s office for violation of Article 168 of the Revised Penal Code.
Recovered from Huertas were 1,200 fake $100 bills; a fake gold certificate for $100,000; and $10 and $20 bills.
