Mute shot dead by guard over loss of P240

- Nestor Etolle -

MANILA, Philippines – A mute was shot dead by a security guard who reportedly lost his P240 after availing himself of the former’s sex service early morning yesterday at Rizal Park in Ermita, Manila.

The victim, known only as a certain Richard pipi (mute), estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old and with tattoo mark of BCJ 32 (Batang City Jail), died on the spot from a gunshot wound on the face, according to Manila Police District’s homicide section chief Inspector Armando Macaraeg.

The victim was still wearing a black spaghetti blouse, long white skirts, and black high-heeled ladies shoes, Macaraeg said.

The suspect in the shooting, identified as Lito Oxales, 33, married, a security guard of Muntinlupa City, was arrested by Rizal Park guards while trying to flee.

A .38 caliber revolver with four bullets and an empty shell was recovered in his possession.

Investigation showed that the suspect and the victim met near the Round Table area in Luneta where the latter offered his sexual service for P20. When the act was consummated, the suspect noticed that his money worth P240 was missing, prompting him to go back to the place where he saw the victim together with other gays.

The suspect demanded for the return of his money, but he was reportedly mocked by the group. The suspect got irked and reportedly shot the victim.

At his detention cell, Oxales revealed that the victim even threatened him with a fan knife and that his group was about to lynch him when he fired a shot.

Oxales warned others not to fall prey with gays offering such pleasure in Luneta since the group may be involved in other illegal activities.
