MANILA, Philippines - The flow of vehicular traffic will be rerouted for the inauguration of president-elect Benigno Aquino III this morning, the Manila Police District-Traffic Enforcement Unit (MPD-TEU) said yesterday.

In a traffic advisory, Superintendent Rizaldy Yap, head of the MPD-TEU, said they are advising motorists to take alternate routes today as both lanes of Roxas Boulevard from President Quirino Avenue up to Anda Circle will be closed to traffic starting at 7 a.m.

Both lanes of P. Burgos from Roxas Boulevard up to Ma. Orosa street, and the stretch of T.M Kalaw from Roxas Boulevard to Ma. Orosa street will likewise be closed to traffic today.

Yap advised the motorists to avoid taking Finance Road and Taft Avenue, as well as Lagusnilad and P. Burgos street so they would not be caught in a traffic jam. The MPD-TEU chief said motorists can take several alternate routes.

All cargo trucks traveling along Osmena Highway must turn right on President Quirino Avenue, go straight ahead to Nagtahan, A.H Lacson Ave-nue, Yuseco street, cross Jose Abad Santos, and go straight along Raxabago and Capulong to their destination.
