Car crashes into Makati gas station

MANILA, Philippines - A car slammed into a pump meter at a gasoline station in Makati City yesterday morning, causing oil to leak onto the street.

Senior Police Officer Abner Bibon told The STAR that driver Troy Darral was headed to the gas station at the corner of Osmeña Highway and Macabulos street when he lost control of his Nissan Sentra and hit the pump meter.

Fuel leaked from the destroyed pump meter, Bibon said, but the spill was immediately cleaned up. No one was hurt in the incident.
