Body found in Caloocan

- Pete Laude -

MANILA, Philippines - The body of an unidentified man, his face wrapped in packing tape, was found along A. Mabini street in Barangay 25, Caloocan City before dawn yesterday.

Superintendent Florendo Quibuyen, acting police chief of Caloocan City, said a message was written on the packing tape, identifying the victim as a car thief or carjacker and telling people not to follow his example.

The victim had been stripped to his underwear and his neck bore strangulation marks, police said, adding that the victim has a “Bahala Na Gang” tattoo on the right knee and “Nonie Kulit” tattooed on his chest.

Police said the victim could have been killed somewhere else and was only dumped in Caloocan City to mislead investigators.
