MANILA, Philippines - Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 and the EDSA-bound Metro Rail Transit will suspend operations from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday, officials said yesterday.
Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) administrator Melquiades Robles said it has been their “yearly practice” to use the long break to “make way for our annual maintenance works.”
MRT operations personnel said the MRT will also suspend operations for the same period, also to give way to maintenance and repair works. – Rainier Allan Ronda
