Boy killed by train

MANILA, Philippines - A three-year-old boy was killed when he was hit by a train in Barangay Sucat, Muntinlupa City Wednesday night.

Senior Superintendent Elmer Jamias, Muntinlupa police chief, said a witness told investigators that Sky Morales was playing and went too near the railroad tracks. A train hit him and he was dragged under the wheels and run over. Police said his body was cut in half.

Police officers said they are investigating if the boy’s death was an accident. – Rhodina Villanueva
