-

MANILA, Philippines - The United Kingdom Visa Application Center (VAC) has been relocated to Eco Plaza Building in Makati City to be able to provide more efficient services to visa applicants.

This British embassy in Manila said this move will allow the UK Mission in Manila to increase the VAC’s overall capaci-ty and will give them the opportunity to handle up to 7,000 applications per month.

The seating capacity of over 160 increased submission counters and easier access to the premises will mean a more efficient overall experience for applicants.

Colin Crorkin, British embassy’ Charge d’ Affaires and the United Kingdom Border Agency’s Regional Director for Asia Pacific James Sharp will jointly open the relocated center.

The UK Visa Applications’ Center is operated by VFS Global, a commercial company which work in partnership with the UK Border Agency at the British Embassy in the Philippines.

It provides services to help residents of the Philippines apply for UK visas. All applicants who require a visa for the UK are required to visit the Visa Application Center to submit their visa application form, supporting documents, payments and biometric data. – Pia Lee-Brago
