Bulacan cop killed in motorbike mishap

MANILA, Philippines - A Bulacan policeman died after he figured in an accident along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City Wednesday night.

Senior Superintendent Raul Petrasanta, Pasay police chief, said Police Officer 2 Liborio Bradecina Jr., 29, was driving a Yamaha motorcycle (MC-4190) along Roxas Boulevard southbound when his vehicle, upon reaching the Gil Puyat fly-over, hit a concrete plant box along the center island at around 9 p.m.

A concerned resident reported the accident. Pasay rescue workers brought the victim to the Pasay City General Hospital, where he died at around 9:45 p.m.

The victim’s brother, Elizardo, 44, said Bradecina visited a sick relative at the Jose Reyes Medical Center and was on his way to Bulacan when the accident happened. – Rhodina Villanueva
