Truck crushes guard in Pasay

MANILA,Philippines - A 38-year-old security guard was crushed to death by a truck in a “hit and run” incident in Pasay City yesterday morning.

Police Officer 1 Rome Del Rosario Jr. said Edmundo Antonio was riding his bicycle along the Merville West Service Road when a truck coming from the other side of the road ran over him then sped away.

Antonio worked for the Omni Security Investigation and General Services Incorporated Agency and was assigned to the Ospital ng Makati. He was a resident of Merville subdivision in Parañaque City.

Police said Antonio sustained broken skull and fractured bones in different parts of the body. – Jose Rodel Clapano
