Man killed over love triangle

MANILA, Philippines - An electrician was shot dead, allegedly by a neighbor who had been courting his wife, in Payatas, Quezon City Saturday night.

Chief Inspector Benjamin Elenzano, who heads the Quezon City Police District’s homicide investigation division, said Nestor Miguel, 50, was watching television in his huse when he saw Marianito Tordisillo standing in front of their store.

Elenzano said Tordisillo walked away, but Miguel tailed him. When the suspect noticed Miguel following him, he drew a handgun and shot the victim repeatedly.

Elenzano said it was not clear whether the two men had an argument before the shooting.
