Couple, son killed in Makati

A businessman, his wife and 16-year-old son were found stabbed dead in their Makati City apartment yesterday morning.

Senior Police Officer 1 Arnaldo Arcilla said residents of the Guijo Apartment along Guijo street in Barangay San Antonio complained of a foul odor coming from the unit occupied by Ariel Igit, 43; his wife, Pilar, 50; and son Adrian Ehrad, 16.

They called up the nearest police station and Arcilla and his team discovered the bodies of the three victims, which bore several stab wounds.

Initial reports tagged the family’s two male helpers as suspects.

The Igit family is reportedly engaged in the restaurant business and Ariel was last seen alive Sunday morning. – Rhodina Villanueva
