Velarde to keynote addiction medicine meet

MANILA, Philippines - El Shaddai leader Mike Velarde will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the 5th joint annual convention of the Philippine Association of Dangerous Drugs Board-Accredited Physicians, Inc. (PADDBAPI) and the Philippine College of Addiction Medicine from Sept. 16 to 17 at the New Horizons Hotel in Mandaluyong City.

PADDBAPI president Dr. Roberto Ramirez said a spiritual figure like Velarde is a good choice as keynote speaker since spiritual activities are an important component of recovery programs for drug dependents.
