4 hurt in SLEX mishap

MANILA, Philippines - Four occupants of a closed van (WEA-646) carrying soy sauce were injured when the van fell on its side while speeding along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) in Bicutan, Taguig City.

In a radio interview, Lope Buhay of the Philippine National Construction Corp.-Skyway Corp. said the incident happened on the southbound lane of the SLEX at around 5:42 a.m.

The still unidentified victims were brought to the South Superhighway Medical Center, Buhay said. The incident caused a temporary traffic slowdown in the area. – philstar.com
