Robin Padilla's brother falls victim to Ativan Gang

-

MANILA, Philippines – The brother of action star Robin Padilla was rushed to the hospital yesterday morning after he reportedly fell victim to the “Ativan Gang.”

Florente Guevarra, traffic investigator of the Public Estates Authority (PEA) Tollways Corp., said it was his colleague, Reynaldo Lariosa, who found Royette Padilla unconscious inside his black Ford Explorer (XBL-278) parked on the shoulder of the Coastal Road in Parañaque City at around 4 a.m.

He said Lariosa immediately checked on Padilla and asked the help of PEA traffic marshals to bring him to San Juan de Dios Hospital in Pasay City.

When Padilla woke up, he did not know what happened to him. He said he was drinking with some friends the other night and that was the last thing he could remember.

Unconfirmed reports said Padilla lost his cellular phone and was seen with two women before he became unconscious.

Guevarra said they called and informed GMA 7 of the incident since Padilla’s brother Robin is a contract star of the company and that even the victim reportedly had a stint at a show in the said channel.

“It was observed that Mr. Padilla could have really fallen victim to the Ativan Gang. He sustained no injuries but was in deep sleep and wouldn’t wake up,” Guevarra said.

Padilla was discharged from the hospital at around 1 p.m. yesterday. – Rhodina Villanueva
