2 killed as motorbike hits stray dog

Two people were killed when they were thrown from the motorbike they were riding after it hit a stray dog in Marikina City Monday.

Angelito Reyes Llamido, 37, and Joseph Aranas, 23, both of Buntong Palay 2, Barangay Silangan, San Mateo, Rizal, died while being operated on at the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center.

Police said the victims were riding in tandem on a motorcycle and were speeding on their way home when the accident happened at the corner of Doña Aurora and G. del Pilar streets in Barangay Parang at about 6 a.m.

The stray dog was also killed, police said. – Non Alquitran
