Aircon technician found dead

MANILA, Philippines - An air-conditioning unit technician was found dead in the stockroom of a condominium building in Makati City Monday night.

Police said Reney Pada, 23, was last seen alive by tool helper Christian Mapula in the stockroom of the Cityland Condominium building on Don Chino Roces street.

Mapula told police he went back to the stockroom some hours later at about 9 p.m. and found Pada lying facedown on top of metal pipes. He said it was raining hard at the time he found Pada.

Mapula reported what he saw to the building administrator, who called the police.

Investigators found no external injuries on Pada’s body, but they are looking at the possibility the victim could have been electrocuted. – Mike Frialde
