Fire razes 4 houses in Parañaque

-

MANILA, Philippines - A fire that lasted nearly two hours destroyed four houses in Parañaque City Monday night, leaving at least P1.2 million in damaged property.

Senior Fire Officer 2 Teodorico Gatchalian said the fire started at about 6:33 p.m. at the second-floor bedroom of the house owned by Maria Palimes on Kalinisan street.

The fire reached the third alarm and spread to adjacent houses. Firemen put out the blaze at about 8 p.m.

Arson investigators are still checking if faulty electrical wiring triggered the fire. No one was reported injured in the incident, the city fire department said. – Mike Frialde
