Sex worker, pimp killed by clients

-

An alleged prostitute and her pimp were killed by their clients for failing to render “service” in Caloocan City Thursday, police said.

Senior Inspector Ronald Perilla, Caloocan City police North Extension Office intelligence and investigation chief, described the alleged pimp only as a gay man and the alleged sex worker to be a woman to be in her 20s.

“Both victims died of multiple stab wounds and their bodies were placed in two sacks and were hidden under the suspects’ bed,” Perilla told The STAR. “We are still in the process of identifying the victims. The suspects admitted to… killing them but without premeditation.”

Perilla identified the suspects as cousins Abdul Romoros, 21, and Anowar Ala, 25, both tricycle drivers and residents of Barangay 188 in Tala, Caloocan City North.

Police Officer 3 Noli Albis said at around 3 a.m., the pimp approached Romoros and Ala along a highway in Tala and offered them the services of a sex worker for P300 each.

The cousins brought the woman and the pimp to a room they were renting on King Solomon street. The woman, however, refused to render service to Ala, who gave the payment to the pimp.

Ala confronted the pimp but the man refused to give him back his money. Armed with a broken bottle, Ala attacked the pimp and Romoros came to his cousin’s aid.

After killing the woman and the pimp, the suspects put the bodies in two sacks and hid them under their bed.

At around 2 p.m., a “concerned citizen” informed Perilla of the incident. Police recovered the bodies and arrested the suspects, who face murder charges.                – Pete Laude
