QCPD to quiz TV host's 'friend' on burglary

-

Police will question a “female friend” of television host Willie Revillame to shed light onto the burglary in his home in Quezon City.

Revillame reportedly lost P3 million in jewelry to burglars on Monday morning.

Superintendent Franklin Moises Mabanag, Quezon City police Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit chief, said Revillame’s female friend was among the few who had keys to the rooms that were ransacked.

Only Revillame, his secretary and his female friend had the keys to these rooms, he added.

Mabanag refused to identify Revillame’s female friend pending further investigation.

Mabanag said police will also invite for investigation another woman who reportedly frequents Revillame’s home.

However, the woman does not have access to the keys to the ransacked rooms and was only there whenever Revillame was at home, he added.

Mabanag said police will release for lack of stronger evidence one of Revillame’s housemaids, Andresa Wenceslao, and her boyfriend, Danny Pacampang.

Revillame discovered the burglary in his home in Corinthian Hills at around 4 a.m. Monday after he came back from an out-of-town trip.

He had been out of the house since Saturday afternoon.    – Reinir Padua
