Store owner shot

A 40-year-old sari-sari store owner was shot after he reportedly refused to give credit to one of his customers Friday night in Port Area, Manila.

Roberto Buisa, of Gasangan, Baseco, Port Area was declared dead on arrival at the Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center. He sustained a gunshot wound in the head.

Investigations conducted by PO2 Joseph Kabigting showed that shortly before the shooting, the victim was overheard scolding a neighbor over his request for credit. After refusing the plea, Buisa also abruptly closed his store in front of the customer.

Minutes later, the victim’s live-in partner heard a shot and when she checked the source of the gunfire she saw the victim lying in a pool of blood.
