10 armed men take Parañaque firm’s vault

The police have launched a manhunt for 10 armed men who robbed a firm in Parañaque City Thursday night and fled with the firm’s vault, which contained an undetermined amount of money and valuables.

The suspects loaded the vault in one of their two getaway vehicles along with other items they took from the employees of International Distribution Services (IDS) Logistics Phils. Inc., whose offices are in Barangay Marcelo Green.

The robbers also took three .38-caliber revolvers and a shotgun from the firm’s security guards.

The suspects, wearing police bush jackets, allegedly arrived in an Isuzu Trooper (SFV-905) and Toyota Tamaraw FX (SFV-506) and approached the main entrance of the establishment at around 11 p.m. They introduced themselves as police officers.

When they were granted entry, the robbers allegedly declared a heist. After divesting the employees of their cash and valuables, the suspects took the company vault.

The victims said the suspects were armed with short and long firearms.
