Caloocan calls for relief goods for typhoon victims
“Thousands of residents in Aklan would soon experience hunger, for they are almost dependent on relief goods to survive,” Macavinta told The STAR.
He said the typhoon destroyed Aklan’s crops, and it would take at least two months for residents to recover from the devastation.
Macavinta, a native of Aklan who served as the province’s police director for two years, is appealing for the public to donate more medicines, clothing, canned goods, rice, blankets, noodles and other basic necessities for the typhoon victims.
