Man stabbed dead by drunk friend

A 47-year-old man suspected of being a member of the Commando Gang was stabbed dead by his drunk friend during a drinking spree in Port Area, Manila the other night.

Sergio Amuyo, alias Bondying sustained several stab wounds in the neck and back.

Manila Police District (MPD) operatives have launched a manhunt against a man only identified as alias Kadong Gurang, 60, a native of Samar, Leyte.

Detective Cris Ocampo of the MPD homicide section said the two men met to have a drink in Port Area. However, after consuming several bottles of beer, the two had an argument that resulted in a fight.

The suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times.

The fight happened after the victim described the suspect as a wanted criminal who has a pending case in Cavite. – Sandy Araneta
