Worker loses head in freak accident

The police are investigating the death of a construction worker in a freak accident in Taguig City yesterday afternoon.

Eric Enriquez was working at the Rosewood Point construction site when a concrete post, for still unknown reasons, fell on him.

Senior Police Officer 4 Eduardo Cabria said the impact was so strong that Enriquez’s head was separated from his upper body, which was almost crushed by the weight of the concrete post.

Responding policemen were unable to immediately locate Enriquez’s head after the incident.     – Michael Punongbayan
