2 bodies found in Binondo

-

The bodies of two men police believe to have been summarily executed were found in an alley in Binondo, Manila past midnight yesterday.

The two men, both aged between 25 and 30 years old, had multiple puncture wounds believed inflicted by an icepick, police said.

Police Officer 2 Jay Santos said one of the victims was described 5’1" tall. He wore a yellow t-shirt, white undershirt, and a pair of short denim pants and had a Bahala Na Gang tattoo on his right arm.

The other was described as 5’4” tall, and wearing a green t-shirt and white jersey with number 42, and a pair of short denim pants. He also had a Bahala Na Gang tattoo on his right arm and a bleeding heart tattoo on his left shoulder.

Santos said the faces of the two victims were wrapped with packing tape, commonly done to “salvage” or summary execution victims.

A witness told police that he saw a vehicle parked at an alley on Tambakan street in Binondo wherein a male occupant unloaded what looked like two bags.

He said when the vehicle left, he checked the “bags” and was shocked to see two bodies. He immediately reported this to the police.

Residents in the area failed to identify the two victims, whose bodies are now at the Popular Funeral Homes in Sta. Cruz, Manila. – Nestor Etolle
