Caloocan city personnel board revamped

Caloocan City Mayor Enrico Echiverri, in a move to create an efficient and effective human resource management program for city personnel, ordered yesterday the reorganization of the city personnel selection board.

He said that since assuming office, it has always been the policy of his administration to recruit the best and brightest among the pool of manpower personnel in the city.

Under Executive Order 04-08, Echiverri will act as the selection board chairman, with City Administrator Russel Ramirez as vice chairman.

Secretary to the mayor Kristine Abustan, city personnel officer Ligaya Lam and budget department officer-in-charge Jesusa Garcia will act as ex-officio members.

Echiverri said that he had already ordered the board to convene immediately and to perform its duties and functions in accordance with the pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991. – Pete Laude
