Caloocan cites top citizens

Caloocan City Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri yesterday led the awarding of “Gawad RECOM” for the city’s outstanding citizens this year.

The yearly Gawad RECOM signifies “Recognizing Exemplary Contribution of Outstanding Men and women in Caloocan” and is bestowed to individuals, families or groups with noteworthy achievements.

Among those who received the awards were Julius Christopher Doolitle of Philippine Cultural High School (elementary) and Charles Jourdan Reyes of Caloocan City Science High School (Outstanding Students); and UE Caloocan College of Fine Arts (Arts).    – Jerry Botial
