Mayor Aldrin San Pedro named the 10 teachers as Marcelo Agana of the Alabang Elementary School; Iluminada Sena, Victoria Homes Elementary School; Necitas Angco, Editha Constantino, and Eva Inosa of the Pedro E. Diaz High School; Reina Aladeza, Muntinlupa Science High School; Elizabeth Limson, Buli Elementary School; Fe Reyes, Bayanan Elementary School (Unit 1); Dionisia Limjuico, Muntinlupa Elementary School; and Nelia Abejar, Muntinlupa Elementary School.

“These teachers have shown exemplary performance in uplifting the quality of education in the city. The annual search aims to recognize their contribution to molding the minds of our youth,” San Pedro said.

The city government gave each of the 10 winners P5,000 and a plaque.

Each school was asked to nominate a candidate for the search. Each finalist should have a very outstanding performance rating, did not incur any absences from June to October this year, and with 300 minutes of teaching load each week.

San Pedro said the search was made possible through the help of the Department of Education-Muntinlupa. – Rhodina Villanueva
