Man arrested over unpaid P19,000 bill

A security officer was arrested by Quezon City policemen after he tried to sneak out of a bar to avoid paying a P19,000 bill early yesterday morning.

According to a police report, Wilson Fernandez and two companions went to the Catwalk Cocktail Lounge on West Avenue past midnight yesterday, taking a private room and asking for a guest relations officer to attend to them.

As the bar was about to close, bar staff told Fernandez’s group that their bill was P19,000. His companions snuck out of the bar, leaving Fernandez to settle the bill.

The report said Fernandez also tried to sneak out of the establishment, but was arrested when the bar manager called for police assistance.
