Nagpalabas ng advisory ang Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) laban sa mga imported products mula sa China kabilang na ang candy at mga luncheon meat products na may formaldehyde.
Batay sa advisory ng BFAD inutos din nito ang pagbawi sa 11 produktong mula sa China sa mga tindahan at pamilihan sa bansa.
Ayon kay BFAD director Leticia Barbara Gutierrez, nagpalabas na rin sila ng direktiba sa mga importer at distributor ng mga nasabing produkto na ipabawi na ang mga sinu-supply sa mga supermarket.
Kabilang sa mga produkto ay ang Fat and Thin Lo Han Kou Pei Pa Koa candy (importer Hua San Wan Foodmart Inc., Supervalue Inc., SM City Cagayan); Sau Tab Noodle King Dried Mix, Soya Bean Paste (Sun Shun Fuk Foods Co., Ltd., importer Jeegs Ace Teamwork Inc., Metro Ayala Center Supermarket); Taro Milk (Nature & Nutrition & Healthy Delicious and Incomparable!) (Huajia Foods Co. Ltd., Jinjiang City, ng Metro Legaspi Supermarket); Natural is Best 200 (importer Supervalue Inc., SM City Cagayan); Wang Fu Yuan The Best For You 120 (Hong Kong Liangshi Food Co. Ltd., Wanfu Food Factory; importer Unite General Merchandise).
