Taguig police conducts probe on 3 deaths

-

The chief of the Taguig police yesterday formed a team to conduct a probe on the alleged killing of three males whose bodies were dumped in separate areas in the city, and made possible the immediate arrest of the suspects.

Superintendent Alfred Sotto Corpus said the three victims who remained unidentified were dumped along C-6 Road, Barangay Calzada , Tipas, and at the DOST Compound, Purok 1-A in Barangay Lower Bicutan.

Investigation showed that at about 6 a.m. yesterday, joggers discovered the body of one of the victims along C-6 Road.

They immediately called the barangay tanods who in their report at the police station noted that the victim was between 20-25 years old, of medium built, 5’5” to 5’6” in height and has fair complexion and short hair, wearing a striped t-shirt and camouflage short pants. He has tattoo marks “Sputnik” on his back and “Pasaway” on the right portion of his chest.

The unidentified male sustained two gunshot wounds on the left chest and right shoulder.

According to witnesses, an unknown vehicle was seen in the area at about 12:30 a.m. where two men alighted and smoked. At about 4 a.m., residents heard three to four gunshots coming from the direction where the body was discovered. Also yesterday morning, the bodies of two other males were found by passersby at the DOTC Compound. Both sustained gunshot wounds in different parts of their bodies.

One of the victims was described to be in his mid-30’s, about 5’8" in height, has dark complexion, heavy built with curly hair, bearing a tattoo mark “Forever” on his hand. He was wearing a colored black sando and basketball short pants. The other victim was described to be in his mid-40’s, medium built, about 5’6” in height with slightly curly hair, fair complexion, and was wearing a light brown khaki denim short pants.

The two were believed to have been killed elsewhere then dumped in Taguig to mislead investigators.
