Taguig City policemen arrested three drugs pushers, a notorious robber and three other trouble makers armed with unlicensed firearms as re-elected Mayor Freddie Tinga intensified the campaign against criminals in the area.

Taguig police chief Superintendent Alfred Corpus identified the arrested suspects as Benjamin Radzak, 21, of Poland St., Barangay Maharlika; Jenny  Angeles, 23, and Michelle Ranido, 23, both of Barangay Upper Bicutan; Ramil Solo, 27, of Pag-asa St., Barangay Signal Village; Michael Ocampo, 30, and Rogelio Morallos, 30, both of Barangay Lower Bicutan; and Joseph  Bagunas, 30, of Barangay Maharlika, all residents of Taguig.

Radzak was caught with .04 grams of shabu during an entrapment operation along A. Bonifacio St., Upper Bicutan, Taguig, at 11:30 p.m. last Thursday.

In another incident, driver Polly Perlas, 33, was on board his parked L-300 delivery van at the corner of Rongo St. and MRT Ave., in Signal Village, when Solo grabbed the victim’s black clutch bag containing P5,500 cash from the dashboard last Friday.

Solo was chased by the victim, and with the  help of bystanders, barangay tanods and police in the area, the suspect was caught.

Investigation and Detective Management Section head, Chief Inspector Celso Rodriguez, reported that barangay tanods and policemen nabbed the three other trouble makers  along Sampaloc St., Barangay Lower Bicutan at 12:20 a.m. last June 1.

Tinga lauded the arrests of the suspects as he ordered the police to continue the drive against all forms of criminality in the city.
