A fish porter pleading for his life was gunned down in front of his live-in partner and a friend by one of three men in Malabon City last Thursday.
Police Officer 3 Bobby Egera, the officer-on-case, said Conrado Que, 25, a resident of Catmon, Malabon, was sitting in a parked owner-type jeep together with live-in partner Leveriza Caluag and friend Jovito Red Jr. at around 5:30 p.m. when two men walked up to him.
Another man served as a lookout nearby.
One of the men took out a gun and aimed at Que, who cried out and begged for his life.
The gunman fired several times. Two bullets hit Que in the head. Witnesses said the killers walked away like nothing happened.
Caluag and Red rushed Que to the Tondo Medical Center, where the latter was pronounced dead on arrival. – With Ian Estrada
