Inspector Leo Andizo, arson investigator, said the fire destroyed an apartment and it took more than four fire trucks to put out the blaze.
The fire started around 5:47 a.m. and contained an hour later. Andizo said they were still conducting a follow-up investigation to determine the cause of fire.
The building was located along San Juan street corner Roxas Boulevard and owned by one Vicente Madrigal. — Rhodina Villanueva
