Man shot dead on Christmas Day

- Jerry Botial -
A man was shot dead by two men — one of whom was a neighbor — last Monday in Navotas.

Investigator Police Officer 3 Dante Majadas identified the victim as Nelcar Nialda, 32, a resident of North Bay Boulevard South.

Nialda succumbed to several gunshot wounds in the body.

Majadas said Nialda and witness Jesus Balisco were having some drinks at the former’s house when neighbor Hilario Desabille and a John Doe arrived at around 3:20 p.m.

They both drew .38 caliber revolvers to the surprise of Nialda and Balisco and shot Nialda several times. Nialda was taken to the Tondo Medical Center for treatment but he died along the way.

Police are currently looking for Desabille and his accomplice.
