Burglars break into QC home

A woman accountant will not have a merry Christmas this year after burglars broke into her house and carted away at least P2 million worth of cash and jewelry two days before Christmas.
Lynette Delphy, of Parkway Village in Bgy. Samson, Quezon City, reported to police yesterday that thieves broke into her house between 8 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. Saturday while she and family members were away.
According to the police, the culprits stole jewelry worth P1.7 million and P19,000 and $1,000 in cash. The suspects likewise took Delphys laptop computer and wristwatches, which has a combined value of at least 7,500 Australian dollars. They also took a Canon camera.
Delphy only discovered the burglary when she and her family came home Saturday late afternoon. Katherine Adraneda
