An estimated P10 million worth of property were destroyed when a fire razed a house inside a subdivision in Muntinlupa City shortly before noon yesterday.
Senior Fire Officer 1 Jerry Mariano, arson investigator, said the blaze started at around 11:23 a.m. while the owner of the house, Danilo Ocampo, was out buying at a nearby grocery store. He left food cooking on the stove, which investigators believe was the fires origin.
No one was hurt. Ocampo said he was alone in the house. The fire which took six firetrucks to extinguish was put out after over half an hour. Rhodina Villanueva
